TGIF Foto Friday....

Here is my entry for Nikemom's Foto Friday....yes, it looks fairly boring, it's just me and my oldest son....but, this picture was taken shortly after my son got his first pair of glasses a couple months ago, and is the first pic that shows both of us with our glasses....yes, he is probably destined to a life of wearing glasses, just like his old man...poor kid....
I've tried contact lenses years ago but they seemed to really iritate my eyes...someone told me that with all the advancements in technology I should try them again....in the least, I want to get some sportish sunglasses that I can use for running instead of wearing my everyday glasses...so that's on my wish list...

In other news, the Happy Runner's blog turned 1, and she's having a giveaway.  Check it out.

Have a great weekend!

I think kids in glasses are cute, but I'm sure that getting glasses as a kid has gotta suck.

Thankfully, I am blessed with keen vision. I'm like a cat!

Hey man, don't rain on my gold star parade! ;)

Guess I'm lucky that contacts don't bother my eyes, because I definitely need to run with sunglasses. You should try some oakleys, I think they make prescription glasses and they're so comfortable for running.

my brother has had glasses since he was realllly young. I wear mine at the computer and I love mine! My husband had a really hard time with contacts too but now has switched to the daileys and they seem to help. Getting a fresh pair everyday seems to be the trick for him.

I second the oakley's recommendation. I have to wear glasses, but can't run with the sun in my eyes. Once I got a pair of prescriptions oakley's I'll never go back!
