I got my second pair of wear test shoes from New Balance a couple days ago. At first I wasn't sure about the dark gray color, but they actually don't look too bad on me.
They are very comfortable, much more comfortable than the last pair I wear tested. I think I'm going to like running in these. I took them out for a 4 miler this morning and enjoyed running in them. These shoes are apparently the big brother of the New Balance 903's, and they have great heel cushioning. The sole of the shoe is almost spongey, but it didn't take me long to get used to the bounce of the shoe when running. I also like the soft inner lining, it is almost velvet-like.
So, I get to run in these shoes for the next month and a half, including a race this next weekend, and save putting some miles on my regular shoes. Thanks New Balance!

OK...I have to ask, how do you get free shoes to try out??
Can you tell I'm a little jealous?
i'm doing the 'hammer it' too! see ya saturday! ;)
That's very cool. Do you get to keep them if you like them, or do they just give you another pair to test?
Whoa! Too cool you get to try out these kicks!!
I've been afraid to try new shoes because I'm terrified that I'll do all this running on them but then they'll suck and I won't be able to return them.
Nice! I like the dark gray. I have a dark gray pair of NB's and I love that they never look dirty like all my white running shoes.
So....how do you get to be a tester??
ooh product tester! :) always a fun "job". i love getting to 'extend' the life of my running shoes while i run in testers. hope they work well for you!

very cool! I'll have to start throwing around howvi have a super cool blog that tons of people read and want to buy products I have....
Nice kicks...I like the dark grey a lot, I used to have a pair of dark grey NB that I loved but sadly they ended up being left behind in Costa Rica after I studied abroad there. Hopefully some nice Costa Rican person is wearing them around now. :)
Cool! I have yet to try NB shoes... no shoe has been forgiving for me (i.e., I haven't had a marathon training cycle yet that hasn't resulted in toenail probs).
Fun fun! Can't wait to hear how they feel for the next race.
Ooh, I like the grey color! White shoes always get dirty looking so fast. I'm not a fan of big heel cushioning, though, as I try to land mid-foot when running vs. heel-toe. Hope they work out for you!
wahhoo you are tester, which means you use the entire test system I built!! Love it!! Sorry makes me very excited to see my sites in action
