I used to think I "knew...You should get a Garmin... I used to think I "knew" the pace I was running at until I got it. There is actually a setting where you can view pace for the mile you are running and it has the ability to keep you on the straight and narrow. It's changed my training quite a bit.<BR/><BR/>You can get a Forerunner 205 for just under $200 at this point I think. P...The slower they tell me to run, the more I hurt. Plus I figure I look better and move more graceful at a bit faster pace than what the guide tells me. Not that I'm a speedster or anything, I just don't understand why an 11 min mile pace.
